The Role: As an IT Business Systems Analyst, you will work closely with the Head of IT and key stakeholders to enhance, support, and modernise the organisations internal systems. Youll contribute to the design and delivery of process improvements, application development, and reporting solutions across departmentshelping to drive efficiency, transparency, and user engagement through smart use of technology. This role suits a detail-oriented problem solver with strong systems knowledge, good stakeholder communication skills, and a desire to help shape the future of internal systems and digital services. The Duties: Provide day-to-day support across core internal systems, ensuring functionality, performance, and user satisfaction. Assist in implementing new modules, digital tools, and workflows as part of a broader systems modernisation programme. Develop queries, reports, and dashboards to support business reporting, planning, and operations. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual input, and improve system usability. Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to resolve system issues and deliver project goals. Provide training to end-users and act as a point of contact for systems-related guidance. Support ongoing development of collaborative platforms such as SharePoint for internal content and document management. Participate in the development of custom apps using tools like Power Apps, enhancing specific workflows across the business. Contribute to workflow automation and process improvement using tools such as Power Automate. The Person: You will have: A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum 3 years experience in a business systems, application support, or IT analyst role. A solid understanding of business system structures, user requirements, and system integration. Hands on implementation and Integration experience of an ERP in a Manufacturing setting Experience developing reports or dashboards using tools such as SQL, Excel, or BI platforms. Experience managing or supporting multiple systems in a business environment. Full UK/EU driving licence. Desirable: Experience with Microsoft 365 applications or the Power Platform. Exposure to supporting enterprise business applications or cloud-based systems. Knowledge of project delivery frameworks and stakeholder management.
