Job Title — Mechanical Engineer
Overview
* Mechanical Build of general Machinery
* Input into Mechanical Design
* Pneumatic Design / Build — Panel build and machine Small fabrications — Welding/Burning/Drilling etc.
* Machine Testing
* Installation and Commissioning
Experience and Knowledge
* Mechanical and Pneumatics
* Basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge would be desirable
* Transmission drive assemblies Structural assemblies
Testing
* All equipment is manufactured and tested in the UK prior to dispatch to the customer
* Installation and Commissioning
* Part of the role will include the installation and commissioning of machinery in the steel-plant. This will mean national and international travel.
* International travel would be approx. 6 weeks out of the year and each trip approx. 2 weeks duration dependent upon location.
Qualifications
* BTEC Mechanical Engineering to HNC Level or equivalent
