Children's Residential Senior Support Worker
Location: Haslingden, BB4
Salary: Up to £36,517.00 per annum
Hours: Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours/week)
Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and an average of two sleep-ins per week (included in salary)
Sleep-In Rate: £55 per sleep-in (included in total salary package)

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you'll play a key leadership role within one of our therapeutic homes, helping to shape a safe, nurturing environment where children can begin to heal and thrive.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading by Example: Supporting the team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care
* Day-to-Day Support: Assisting children with routines such as personal care, meals, and activities
* Mentoring Staff: Guiding junior team members, sharing knowledge, and supporting development
* Emotional and Behavioural Support: Helping children regulate emotions and manage challenges
* Promoting Learning: Supporting education, skill-building, and personal growth
* Maintaining Records: Ensuring accurate documentation and contributing to care planning
* Creating a Safe Home: Helping maintain a positive, safe, and structured environment

What We're Looking For

What We Require
* Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) in Children & Young People
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Previous experience working in a residential childcare setting
