Based in South Mimms, Hertfordshire, the role requires travel to sites around the M25 including Dartford and Leatherhead, with a hybrid working model of 3 days a week on site/in the office.
What you’ll be doing
* Assist with supply‑chain and procurement activities for CPS who are the M25, National Highways Area 5, asset managers.
* Support Procurement and Supply Chain Managers in the development of procurement and supply‑chain engagement strategies which deliver customer priorities and ensure value is maximised.
* Responsible for administration across both the procurement and supply‑chain function, playing a key role in supporting delivery.
Who we’re looking for
* Assist with administering subcontract tender processes.
* Data entry to support the production of reporting and dashboards including use of Power BI.
* Arrange and manage meeting attendance.
* Take and produce meeting minutes.
* Typing letters and reports.
* Manage shared mailboxes.
* Liaison with colleagues to ensure timely submission of documentation.
* Act as administrator for various systems.
* Keep digital systems up to date on behalf of the department.
* Support the Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Manager with meetings, minutes and ensuring deliverables are met.
* Support both the Procurement Manager and Supply Chain Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the function and wider team.
* Take on projects and build an understanding of material procurement, subcontract procurement and supply‑chain management to provide proactive support.
* Previous experience in an administration role.
* Highly organised and able to prioritise workload.
* Excellent Excel and Word skills.
* Experience of using Microsoft Lists is desirable.
* Experience of using Power BI is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to learn and develop.
