An established and highly regarded fertility provider is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead its nursing and ultrasound team within a busy and growing clinic in the Nottingham area.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an NMC-registered nurse with strong operational and people management experience, ideally gained within fertility, women’s health, or a comparable regulated clinical environment.
The successful candidate will play a central role in overseeing day-to-day clinical operations, supporting service quality, driving team performance, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the fertility journey.
The role:
Working as part of the senior clinic leadership team, you will take responsibility for the coordination and development of nursing and sonography services while remaining clinically involved within patient care.
The organisation provides both NHS and private fertility treatment services and has built a strong reputation for patient outcomes, innovation, and quality standards.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
* Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary nursing and sonography team
* Managing staffing levels, rotas, and clinical resource planning
* Ensuring compliance with HFEA standards and clinical governance requirements
* Supporting service improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
* Maintaining high standards of patient care and experience
* Supporting recruitment, supervision, training, and ongoing staff development
* Contributing to quality management processes, SOP reviews, and audit activity
* Working closely with the wider leadership team on clinic performance and strategy
Person Specification:
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
* Current NMC registration
* Degree-level education or equivalent experience
* Previous management or leadership experience within healthcare
* Strong people leadership and team development skills
* Confidence operating within a regulated clinical environment
* Excellent communication and organisational ability
* A patient-centred and collaborative approach
Experience within fertility services would be highly advantageous, although applicants from other relevant clinical specialisms may also be considered.
