You will help create and manage an effective planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule while rapidly responding to critical breakdowns to restore production flow. Your expertise will keep repairs and installations across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems on track. You’ll maintain building and facility standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, you will source and procure parts and services, working with external contractors. You will work closely with the the Head of Production and on-site leadership to drive reliability, reduce downtime, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your personality, experience and qualifications To thrive in this role, you’ll need a degree or diploma in engineering, ideally supported by your 18th edition or equivalent qualification. You should have experience in a similar position within manufacturing or food production, along with strong problem solving abilities and a hands-on approach to problem solving under pressure. You should also have up-to-date knowledge of engineering best practices and compliance standards, as well as experience managing budgets, procurement, and external contractors. However, most importantly, we are looking for someone with a positive, can do attitude and who is keen to continuously develop and improve their skills.
