Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for Bank Pharmacy Technicians to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a Category B prison located in London. In this role you will provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without compromising on efficiency and quality.
Hours
7:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday (9‑hour shift) with 1‑hour break
8:30 - 17:30 Weekends + bank holidays (8‑hour shift) with 1‑hour break
Flexible shift patterns from 1 to 4 days a week
Salary
You’ll receive a bank hourly rate of £23.14 per hour

Main Duties of the Job
As a Bank Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high‑quality prison pharmaceutical service.
* Work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, as part of a comprehensive healthcare package based on the prison services’ needs.
* Deliver the highest standard of care to clients in line with National Guidelines.

Requirements
* NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC, or equivalent.
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD).
* Relevant post‑qualification pharmacy experience.
