Inside Sales & Office Administrator

Salary: up to £32,500
The Role
We are exclusively partnered with a growing business based in Milton Keynes to recruit an Inside Sales & Office Administrator. This is a fully office-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys owning the sales cycle, building relationships, and supporting the wider commercial operation.
The primary objective of this position is to drive revenue from the office, managing the end-to-end inside sales process while providing key administrative and operational support.
You will work closely with the Sales Office & Logistics Team Leader, Field Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure a smooth and effective sales operation.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Office & Administration
* Create and issue sales quotations, proposals, and contracts
* Handle objections, pricing discussions, and negotiations to close deals
* Process sales orders and liaise with logistics/operations for delivery
* Maintain sales records and databases
* Respond to sales enquiries and provide excellent customer service
* Prepare sales reports as required
* Provide general office support, including calls, emails, and correspondence
Lead Generation & Prospecting
* Conduct outbound cold calling and targeted email campaigns
* Manage and qualify inbound leads and enquiries
Sales Cycle Management
* Qualify prospects based on needs, budget, authority, and timelines
* Maintain a strong understanding of products, services, and competitors
* Coordinate product demonstrations, presentations, and training with field sales
Account & CRM Management
* Build and maintain long-term customer relationships via phone and email
* Accurately log activity, customer information, and pipeline updates in the CRM system
* Manage follow-ups to progress opportunities through the sales funnel
Collaboration & Reporting
* Route qualified or complex opportunities to the Field Sales team
* Work with Marketing on lead-nurturing campaigns
* Provide regular reporting on calls, leads, and pipeline forecasts
* Share market insights, customer feedback, and sales effectiveness with management
Skills & Experience
* Experience working in an inside sales office environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Resilient, positive, and target-driven approach
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Confident using CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
* Good understanding of sales processes, objection handling, and negotiation
