Responsibilities include:
1. Operate within agreed technical standards and ITIL procedures to maintain the technical integrity of the application environment and address technical issues effectively.
2. Operate within application management processes, including liaising with service teams and suppliers for updates, upgrades, testing, configuration management, and communication regarding service impact.
3. Assess the fitness for purpose of applications in line with strategy and architecture.
4. Support the implementation of new functionalities and ensure adoption by business users, including managing interfaces and integrations, and maintaining the CMDB.
5. Understand business requirements, explore market solutions, and provide technical support for requests and issues.
6. Continuously monitor application performance and identify improvements.
7. Contribute to application management processes and communication with stakeholders regarding service continuity.
The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 4 qualification in ICT or equivalent experience and meet the essential criteria outlined in the job profile.
