Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time 40 hours per week
Salary: £46,456 per annum to £50,000 per annum dependant on experience
Reporting Office: West Ham Lane, Stratford
Working Location: Covering Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest
Persona: Agile working (hybrid home, office and site working)
Working Pattern: Shifts between 8 and 5pm Monday to Friday and call outs per rota basis

About the role
L&Q’s Maintenance Service is looking for a Reactive Supervisor to join the in-house team. The North East Supervisor covers Waltham Forest, Havering Redbridge and the surrounding areas. You will be part of a team of Supervisors who cover reactive repairs. You will be responsible for circa 10 Multi trade and Specialist Maintenance Operatives who work across the Neighbourhood. The role reports to the Maintenance Team Manager.
You will also have links to the wider business area and will liaise with the Housing Management and Property Services teams, Surveying teams Caretaking teams as well as the Planning and Scheduling team, Contact Centre and other Supervisors to ensure consistency in service delivery.

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a dispersed maintenance team to deliver reactive repairs with a focus on first-time fix wherever possible.
* Oversee circa 10 multi-trade and specialist operatives across the Neighbourhood, ensuring safety, quality and performance targets are met.
* Analyse data, predict outcomes, provide advice to get activities back on track and contribute to direct maintenance KPIs.
* Manage budgets and demonstrate good financial acumen.
* Collaborate with Housing Management, Property Services, Surveying, Caretaking, Planning and Scheduling, and Contract Centre teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience leading a dispersed team and managing performance through informal and formal processes, including absence management and recruitment input.
* Knowledge of health and safety, including asbestos awareness, with the ability to pass this knowledge to the team.
* Confident in liaising with contractors and reporting on performance to Contracts Managers.
* Ability to deliver KPIs and manage budgets.
* Full manual driving licence.
* Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of trades and maintenance.
