You will play a key role in ensuring that Jellycat has the right suppliers and commercial terms for its Professional Services needs.
Responsibilities
* Lead Procurement Category Management of the global Professional Services category, working closely with internal teams including Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and the wider business, such as eComm and IT. Also support Logistics projects when needed.
* Responsible for tender management, leading the development and execution of robust tenders to ensure the selection of the best suppliers for Jellycat’s Professional Services needs.
* Engage in fact‑based contract negotiations to secure favourable terms and conditions, ensuring quality is prioritised and long‑term relationships can flourish.
* Identify and evaluate new suppliers to enhance Jellycat’s Professional Services capability and support global expansion.
* Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including Finance, Legal and Human Resources, to support the smooth running of the business.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
* Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure business continuity and resilience.
* Manage and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring they meet Jellycat’s high standards for quality, reliability and performance.
Qualifications
* Category management experience within the Professional Services space, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
* Expertise in tender management, leading and executing robust tenders to select the best suppliers.
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to engage in fact‑based negotiations to secure favourable terms and conditions.
* Ability to identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to meet Jellycat’s high standards for quality, reliability and performance.
* Experience working with cross‑functional teams.
* Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply base to enhance quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
* Knowledge of risk management practices to ensure business continuity and resilience.
* Skills in monitoring and evaluating supplier performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
