What you'll do

We’re looking for a curious and motivated individual to join us as a Data Analyst supporting our Collections function across both credit cards and personal loans.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving real-world problems and learning how insights can improve customer outcomes.

You’ll help us understand how customers behave and how our strategies are performing — by analysing data, building reports, and presenting trends that matter. Collections experience is a bonus, but your main focus will be on turning raw data into insight and supporting teams across the business.

As a Data Analyst (Collections), you’ll gain hands-on experience in a regulated environment, learn how data drives real decisions, and develop your technical and commercial skills along the way.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

* Data Analysis: Use SQL and Excel to extract, clean and analyse datasets related to customer behaviour and collections outcomes.
* Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards and MI reports, highlighting trends in payment behaviour, delinquency and portfolio performance.
* Insight Generation: Support the identification of patterns and trends that can improve strategies and decision making.
* Team Collaboration: Work with teams in collections, credit risk, finance and operations to deliver data-driven projects.
* Ad-hoc Support: Respond to data requests from internal stakeholders with accurate and timely outputs.
* Process Improvement: Assist in automating or simplifying manual data tasks to improve accuracy and efficiency.
* Learning & Growth: Build your understanding of the collections process, financial products and regulation.
* Project Support: Contribute to wider projects (e.g. strategy testing, operational reviews, regulatory submissions), with guidance from senior analysts or managers.

What you need

* Experience or a strong academic background in data analysis or a related field.
* Working knowledge of SQL is essential. Familiarity with Snowflake, Python, Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
* Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, lookups and formulas.
* Analytical mindset and interest in solving real-world problems using data.
* Ability to communicate data insights in a clear and practical way.
* Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to analysis.
* Comfortable working in a team and supporting others with data queries.
* Interest in collections or financial services is a plus, but not required.
* Enthusiasm to learn and grow in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

What's in it for you?

* A competitive salary.
* Flexible, hybrid working opportunities.
* Company bonus scheme - if the business does well, you should get rewarded for your hard work.
* 25 days' annual leave, (plus bank holidays) increasing to 27 after two years service and 30 after five.
* Company pension scheme – we provide an enhanced pension scheme with generous employer contributions to set you up for the future which includes life cover of 4x your base salary.
* Eye test – you can claim a freebie each year, or if your needs change.
* Employee Assistance Programme - we offer membership to a recognised scheme to support you and your wellbeing.
* A strong ethos of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
* Wide business exposure, in terms of business disciplines, projects and stakeholders.
* Direct contribution to business transformation and growth.
* Huge learning and career progression opportunities.
* Being valued as an individual from our team.
* Full training, support and mentoring to develop a successful career in financial services.
