About the Role
We are looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join Immerse Education, a leading provider of educational experiences to students across the world, comprising residential summer schools delivered in the UK and overseas, and online courses.
We are looking for a bright and ambitious individual to join our growing team with a focus on recruiting academic and support staff for our seasonal programmes. You will be the first point of contact for all new and existing seasonal staff – so it is paramount that you represent Immerse in a positive and professional manner.
Your success will be measured by meeting recruitment targets within set time periods and ensuring an applicant’s suitability for the position advertised. You will be responsible for developing our channels of recruitment as well as maintaining good relationships with all seasonal staff.
The position will be most suitable for someone with a background in the education industry, preferably with prior experience in staff recruitment, who understands the challenges, requirements and responsibilities of seasonal staff working in a summer school environment.
Responsibilities
* Recruiting teaching and pastoral staff for both online and residential courses in the UK and overseas
* Establishing new pipelines for seasonal roles, including posting job adverts, promoting referral schemes, headhunting, and finding new candidate pipeline generation channels as needed
* Regular interviewing of applicants
* Maintaining and expanding the database of staff and keeping all records up to date
* Supporting the maintenance of a talent platform to showcase opportunities for existing and new hires
* Maintaining forecasts and reports to ensure that recruitment data is current and accurate
* Applicant enquiry management via email
* Keeping a professional flow of communication with all staff, updating them on deadlines for submitting teaching materials, sending reminders and first‑day arrival instructions
* Ensuring all contracts and relevant paperwork have been completed before the contract start date
* Writing and publishing a pastoral newsletter every month to share news and updates on job opportunities and company news with our Immerse talent pool
* Providing support across the Operations Division to ensure smooth operational delivery
Requirements
* At least 1+ years experience in an operational or recruitment role
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
* Experience recruiting teaching staff
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
* Advantageous: Experience working in a summer school environment
