Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Cleaning Supervisor to support the delivery of high standards of cleaning services at our corporate client site in London. This is a hands‑on role, responsible for supervising evening cleaning operations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring all activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures. You will play a key role in coordinating the cleaning team, supporting communication between shifts, and ensuring a consistent and compliant service is delivered.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support the cleaning team to ensure high standards are consistently achieved
* Lead by example through hands‑on cleaning duties across office spaces, welfare areas, and shared facilities
* Allocate daily tasks and ensure adequate cover across all areas
* Carry out regular inspections and audits to monitor cleaning quality
* Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures, including risk assessments and safe systems of work
* Maintain accurate cleaning records, logs, and documentation in line with company requirements
* Report maintenance, safety, or building issues promptly
* Support training and provide guidance to team members where required
* Maintain clear communication with site management and colleagues to ensure continuity of service
Qualifications
* Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a corporate or commercial environment
* Experience in a supervisory or team leader role is desirable
* Good understanding of cleaning standards, health & safety, and safe working practices
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
* Confident communication skills and a proactive approach
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Work Hours
20 hours per week Monday to Friday, 6:00pm – 10:00pm at £15.81 per hour. Opportunities for career development are available, along with Sodexo’s employee benefits package.
