Beanies Sofplay & Caféare seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee daily operations of our intimate yet busy Softplay & Caféin Leicestershire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining the high standards of service and quality set by our previous manager. The Café Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a welcoming atmosphere and driving the overall success of the establishment.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the café team to deliver outstanding guest services, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and cleanliness standards.
Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and efficient team.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies.
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to uphold the cafés reputation.
Collaborate with suppliers to manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Develop promotional strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.
Monitor sales figures and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
Qualifications
Proven management experience within the hospitality or café sector.
Strong understanding of guest services principles with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food service establishments.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with an approachable manner.
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
