An opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team. Are you an enthusiastic and highly motived individual? Agricar are looking for a fulltime Service Manager to join our busy Forfar depot. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and leadership skills in a role that keeps you at the heart of workshop operations. About the Role
As our Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring jobs run smoothly and our customers receive a high standard of service. Your responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing and processing workshop jobs.
• Booking in customer machinery efficiently.
• Liaising with workshop staff and warranty teams.
• Communicating with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face.
• Ensuring paperwork and administrative tasks are kept up to date.
• Work closely with the sales team to meet machine delivery expectations.
• Supporting a busy team through seasonal peaks.
About You
We’re looking for someone with a solid understanding of agricultural machinery and workshop operations, ideally with previous management experience. You don’t need to be working on machines daily, but you should have a good grounding in workshop operations and understand agricultural machinery. Key skills include:
• Knowledge of modern agricultural machinery and farming practices.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Team leadership experience and the ability to manage staff confidently.
• IT literacy and experience with diagnostic systems.
• A full clean driver’s licence.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
