An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist within our Trauma and Orthopaedic therapy team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and therapy support workers. We are looking for a dedicated, dynamic physiotherapist with experience, knowledge and skills in both trauma and orthopaedics to support the ongoing development of the therapy service in this specialist area. This post gives the opportunity to actively participate and help lead service delivery change, with exciting developments within orthopaedics. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, motivated to develop their own skills and that of the service, providing high quality and evidence based therapy. We are looking for a dedicated, proactive, dynamic Physiotherapist to provide specialist knowledge and leadership experience whilst supporting flow and positive risk in a fast-paced environment. The Therapy Department we pride ourselves on developing staff, staff are actively encouraged to participate in R&D, service development and Q.I initiatives within this role. This post will actively contribute to the service delivery of the new Orthopaedic Ambulatory Pathway, regularly completing audits and data analysis to inform further service development. This post will be cross site, covering both Cheltenham General Hospital and Gloucester Royal Hospital providing the exciting opportunity to work within both trauma and elective orthopaedics.
