At Sirona Care & Health, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Children’s Community Physiotherapist to join our team. This role will be expected to cover services across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and North Somerset depending on clinical demand.
You will work across a variety of settings, including the community and special schools, providing physiotherapy to children and young people with complex neurological and developmental conditions.
As part of your role, you'll have the opportunity to supervise and support Band 4 staff and students, helping to shape the future of the team. You will also develop a deeper understanding of specialist equipment, postural management, and orthoses by working alongside orthotists to enhance your clinical practice.

We are open to applicants who are looking for full (37.5hrs) or part-time hours (from 22.5 hours) on a permanent or fixed-term basis.

Responsibilities include:
1. Working with children and young people in their homes, early years settings, mainstream and special schools to provide physiotherapy assessments and interventions.
2. Supervising Band 4 staff within the team and special school settings, supporting students as needed.
3. Gaining knowledge of Hydrotherapy and developing skills in this area to support special school programmes.
4. Developing knowledge of specialist equipment and assessment skills for postural management.
5. Learning about orthoses and working alongside orthotists during assessments.
