NVQ Level 3: Circa £49,440 starting salary (£42,992 for candidates with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject + 15% Shift Allowance)
NVQ Level 2: Circa £44,237 starting salary (£38,467 basic for candidates with NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject + 15% Shift Allowance)
Opportunity for pay progression up to £52,000 basic with training
Permanent, Full-time, 40.25 hours over an extended 7-day shift pattern + Overtime

Responsibilities
Join us as a maintenance technician, responsible for carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults and completing scheduled maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets. This role is not just about doing a job, it has a real purpose; it’s about protecting our environment. With support from a collaborative team, you will develop your commercial and/or industrial experience with assets such as electrical control panels, motor testing, level control equipment and instrumentation, inverters, including some small-scale domestic work. Experience working with mechanical control systems, telemetry systems, pumps, gearboxes and general mechanical/electrical plant maintenance would also be advantageous. This role is vital and will have a direct impact on the environment and communities that we serve.
What it takes to be a Bioresources Maintenance Technician
To be successful in this role, you must have obtained an NVQ level 2 or 3 (mechanical/engineering) qualification (or equivalent) and/or completed a relevant apprenticeship and hold a full UK driving licence.

Minimum qualifications: NVQ level 2 or 3 (mechanical/engineering) or equivalent, and/or completed a relevant apprenticeship. A full UK driving licence is required.
