Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant/s Fixed term – until July 2026 in the first instance Start date: As soon as possible 29.83 hours per week, term time only £13.26 per hour pro rota Scale 3 ‘A school of ‘doers, believers and achievers’ The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teaching assistant/s on a permanent contract. They need to share our commitment and values towards learning in our forward-thinking school and nursery. The successful candidate/s needs to be flexible and willing to work across any phase in school, including the current SEND Nest Provision phase. They need to be prepared to work across whole classes, with specific groups or on a one-to-one basis. This depends on the ever-changing level of need across school and the strengths of the successful individual. The successful candidate will also be required to support the lunchtime team with key children. We are looking for someone who: enjoys making a difference to children’s learning is committed to safeguarding children has experience of working with SEND children, especially those with SEMH needs. enjoys working as part of a team is able to motivate and inspire, supporting and promoting the vision and ethos of the school has a passion for securing the best outcomes for children is able to support members of the team in the delivery of lessons as well as daily administrative jobs is happy to work with children on a one-to-one or group basis through tailored interventions e.g. nurture groups, speech and language enjoys working with children with a variety of needs is creative, flexible and has a sense of humour enjoys working with supportive parents, governors and the wider community has excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish and sustain constructive relationships with children and adults Visits: We will be running tours on Wednesday 1st October 2025 and Wednesday 8th October 2025 at 3:45pm (please call the office on 01952 387720 to book a place on this tour). Though tours are not essential, we do strongly encourage them.
