Phoenix Gray is currently seeking a skilled Stone Mason to join a reputable restoration company based in Bedford, Bedfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a significant project involving the restoration of a Grade II listed building. The successful candidate will be responsible for carefully cutting out masonry works, ensuring preservation and integrity of the historic structure. Your expertise in stone masonry and attention to detail will be vital to delivering high-quality craftsmanship that respects heritage standards. Valid CSCS card and full tool kit are mandatory.
Full 5-point PPE must be worn at all times.
Proven experience in stone masonry, specifically working on listed buildings.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
A strong understanding of health and safety procedures associated with historic restoration work.
Own transport is preferred but not essential if commuting options are available.
