Powered Access Engineer
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Salary: £32,000-£40,000, Overtime @1.5x and 2x on Sundays and Bank Holidays
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (flexible between 07:00–18:00)

Due to their successful growth, they are currently seeking a Powered Access Field Service Engineer to join their current team. The business supplies a wide range of equipment across the UK and prides itself on a close‑knit working environment where employees are valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities
* Attend breakdowns and urgent callouts, delivering efficient fault resolution
* Diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults on powered access equipment
* Perform routine servicing, LOLER inspections and preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines
* Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams regarding required work, timelines and machine condition
* Identify and source parts required to complete repairs
* Complete service reports, job sheets and digital documentation accurately
* Maintain safe, clean and organised working practices
* Use diagnostic tools, schematics and service manuals to troubleshoot faults
* Represent the company professionally on customer sites
* Build strong customer relationships through technical expertise and reliability
* Provide technical advice to customers and colleagues when required
Candidate Requirements
Essential
* NVQ in Engineering (or equivalent)
* Previous experience as a powered access engineer
* Strong fault-finding capabilities (mechanical and electrical)
* Clear and professional communication skills
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Flexible and supportive team approach
* Thorough Examination Certificate
* Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
o Experience using PDA and Protean software
o IPAF Licence and/or CAP Licence
