Job Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer to join the Wing Analysis Engineering team at Filton.
We are a team of Structural Engineers who are a mixture of technical specialists and engineering leads who are all passionate about finding technical solutions to support our products Wings. We have a vast wealth of knowledge and experience within our engineers who can help you grow technically and personally within this role.
This role offers more flexibility to work on most of our product Wings; from Incremental developments in Single Aisle and Widebody programmes, to cost saving and continuous airworthiness modifications. Our team touches nearly all aspects of the Product Development Plan (PDP) from feasibility studies to certification and occurrences once the product has entered service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Approve F&DT deliverables and lead the resolution of F&DT problems through the use of appropriate methods
2. Responsible for the technical scope of assigned projects and tasks
3. Contribute to engineering solutions and ways of working borne from experience in aerospace, other industries or research environments
