As a Principal Software Developer, you will lead the technical direction and execution of software projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals. You will drive innovation, mentor junior developers, and ensure the successful delivery of scalable and maintainable systems.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee the development of our in-house software, Evolve, hosted in a cloud environment.
2. Collaborate closely with internal and partner development teams.
3. Focus on improving the efficiency and capabilities of Solus by developing with the Microsoft stack in an Agile and Scrum framework.
Qualifications
Desirable qualifications and experience include:
* Strong understanding of Agile values and principles, including Scrum framework.
* Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud environments such as Azure.
* Proficiency in Angular and experience with test-driven development (unit testing, mocking, integration testing).
* Experience as a web or app developer.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Advocacy for code quality, clean code, and best practices.
* Ability to interpret and document processes.
* Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and explore new ideas.
* Understanding of Motor Claims, Insurance, and Vehicle Repair (Desirable).
