KPi Education is working in partnership with a highly regarded multi-academy trust in East London to recruit an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join their SEND team, supporting pupils aged 11–25.
This role offers flexibility, with opportunities for in-school, hybrid, or fully online delivery, depending on experience and service need.
Key Requirements
To be considered, you must:
* Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist
* Be HCPC registered
* Hold an enhanced DBS (child workforce)
* Have experience working with children and young people (4–25)
* Have experience supporting SEND and autistic/neurodivergent pupils
* Be confident in SaLT assessments, intervention planning, and report writing
* Be able to start ASAP
Please note: This role is not suitable for newly qualified therapists.
About the Role
* Full-time Speech and Language Therapist position
* Flexible delivery: on-site, hybrid, or online therapy
* Support pupils with communication needs, ASD, SEMH, and developmental language delay
* Carry out assessments and deliver targeted intervention programmes
* Produce high-quality reports to support EHCPs and reviews
* Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
* Provide direct therapy, modelling, and guidance to school staff
* Support the trust during a period of ongoing permanent recruitment
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Confident, proactive, and able to work autonomously
* Strong knowledge of communication disorders and evidence-based interventions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Compassionate, professional, and committed to improving outcomes for SEND pupils
* Comfortable delivering online/remote therapy sessions where required
