Starting Salary: £24,479.00 per annum (pro rata £13,988.00 per annum)
Hours: 20 hours per week (87 hours per month) Flexible working
We have a busy payroll week once per month where you will be required to be in every day, but the rest of the month, days and times can be flexible.
Overall Purpose
To support staff members with a variety of administration duties, Payroll preparation, answering telephone calls, monitoring emails.
Principal Duties
Duties will cover day to day administration tasks and liaising with our other Encompass staff and include:
* During our busy payroll week, you will be responsible for matching clients’ timesheets with relevant payroll folders.
* You will support with payroll preparation which includes checking and calculating timesheets.
* Ensuring annual leave records are kept up to date for our clients
* Typing up contracts of employment for our clients’ employees
* Support with answering the telephone as required
* Distribution and collection of incoming and outgoing mail where required
* Photocopying, filing, word processing, using excel and emails
* Holiday/sickness cover for our Administrator.
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
Must have good typing/word processing skills and have GCSE grade 5 or equivalent (O Level grade C) in English, Arithmetic
Must be confident with figures and have good attention to detail
Must be confident answering the telephone and have an approachable and friendly manner.
Experience with excel.
Willingness to undertake training.
Personal Attributes
You must be a team player and be able to take instructions from other members of staff at Encompass and also use your own initiative to ensure your time is productive.
You must be able to keep your work confidential and only share with other members of staff at Encompass.
