Senior Residential Support Worker

About the Role

We are looking for experienced, Level 3 qualified professionals to join our "GOOD" Ofsted-rated homes in Weston-super-Mare.
You will provide stability and care for young people (ages 8-18) who have experienced trauma, helping them build the self-confidence needed to make positive life choices.

Key Responsibilities
* Safeguarding young people and maintaining a safe, calm living environment.
* Leading shifts and taking a lead role in incident response.
* Acting as a Keyworker to provide dedicated support to specific young people.
* Building positive relationships with families and external professionals.
* Ensuring the home adheres to all current legislation and Ofsted standards.
Requirements (Mandatory)
* Age: Must be 23 years or older (Required by Children’s Homes Regulations).
* License: A valid UK driving licence is essential.
* Qualification: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Note: If you are not yet qualified but have relevant experience, we still encourage you to apply for a Support Worker position.
* Availability: Must be able to work 37.5 hours per week on a rota that includes overnights, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
