Who We Are
Wise Monkey Entertainment ltd. is a small but ambitious indie game studio based in London building lovingly hand-crafted detective adventures packed with dry british humour.
We’re out to make murder mystery games absurd and theatrical again—with stylised pixel-art visuals, rich puzzles, punchy and flavourful writing, and that classic twist-you-didn’t-see-coming.
Think high-stakes whodunnit with character, charm, and psychedelic creative freedom. As limited open-world adventure games in the style of Zelda/Monkey Island.
The Game
No Stone Unturned is our studio’s debut, a far-from-classic Whoddunit that asks the question “Why DID the chicken cross the road?”
Coming to players Early 2026, it blends the fast-paced crazy story of amnesiac squirrel Detective Cox with a cosy story rich world and mini-games that present rewarding challenges for players in unexpected moments. (think Stardew Valley meets WarioWare)
If you wanted to show off in your application.. Playing the free PC demo for the game on Steam can give you a good insight into our style of humour and gameplay.
The Role
This is a full-time role joining the No Stone Unturned team in our Walthamstow Studio, a short walk from Blackhorse Road Underground Station, London.
