Overview
We are looking for a fixed term Registered Nurse to join our dedicated and professional teams of community nurses in North Norfolk. This part‑time position is with the NN4 Team (Brundall, Hoveton, Wroxham and Rackheath areas).
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality patient centred nursing care to patients in a variety of community settings, under the supervision of Band 6 and Clinical Lead colleagues as part of the integrated team.
* Support development of the locality within the new Primary Care Network and act as the link between operational services, GP practices, Social Services and other service providers involved in patient care to ensure the best outcomes.
* Demonstrate a proactive philosophy to care with a holistic, whole‑patient approach and involve all parties; maintain effective communication as essential for quality patient care.
* Receive clinical support from Community Matrons, Clinical Leads and a management team; participate in in‑service training, regular appraisals, a personal development plan and clinical supervision.
* Contribute to an organisational culture focused on delivering high quality care and striving for outstanding care as evidenced by CQC ratings.
* Be flexible in working patterns where possible to support a 24/7 service, and balance work with life commitments where feasible.
* Advise on and participate in ongoing personal development and networking with colleagues in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
* Self‑motivated, flexible, with sound clinical reasoning and good communication skills.
* Experience in community settings is advantageous; a willingness to develop skills within community care is required.
