Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on technical leader who will plan, assign and direct work activities while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
The role will also involve resolving operational issues, managing work priorities and supporting the Facility Manager to ensure efficient utilisation of resources.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform supervisory functions within a facilities maintenance and utility plant operations environment
2. Review and evaluate team performance, ensuring quality standards are consistently met
3. Take corrective action to resolve operational or performance issues
4. Plan, assign and manage work tickets and preventative maintenance work orders
5. Ensure preventative maintenance and work orders are completed to schedule each month
6. Maintain and manage Operations & Maintenance documentation, ensuring it is accurate and readily accessible
7. Review, edit and maintain SOPS, MOPS and EOPS relevant to site operations
8. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure maintenance and project work is completed safely and effectively
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
9. Practitioner-level experience within Technical Services in a building services environment
10. Experience within integrated facilities management, preferably in Financial Services, Manufacturing, Industry or Healthcare
11. Vocational education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (country-specific qualifications to be included)
12. In-country Chartered, Registered or Licensed Engineer status (country-specific licences to be included)
13. Strong knowledge of work order control procedures and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
14. Experience managing subcontractors and vendor contracts
15. Experience managing key performance indicators and supporting capacity planning and reporting
16. Ability to use hand tools, test equipment and apply maintenance shop best practices
