What you will do:
* Manage a complex and varied caseload, with supervision and support from your team leader.
* Collaborate across multi-disciplinary forums, attending and representing the department as needed.
* Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and co-design support plans with service users.
* Undertake safeguarding enquiries and capacity assessments, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
* Communicate effectively in high-risk situations, providing clear and professional guidance.
* Engage in direct work with service users, carers, and families in line with safeguarding procedures.
* Monitor financial resources and ensure services are delivered within budgetary constraints.
* Participate in the duty system and act as a trusted assessor for supporting equipment/adaptations.
Qualification:
* Dip SW, BA or MA Social Work or equivalent / or due to receive qualification within next 5 months following application.
* Social Work England registered or due to receive registration within the next 5 months following application.
