A prominent client of ours are seeking an experienced FinOps professional on a remote basis, to lead cloud financial management activities, focusing on cost optimisation, waste reduction, and effective resource utilisation across public cloud environments, including Azure and AWS.
The role will be responsible for driving FinOps best practices, enabling stakeholders through training and guidance, and ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities into a long-term internal capability.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Cost Optimisation and Waste Reduction
* Identify inefficiencies in cloud usage and implement cost-saving measures.
* Promote and embed best practices for efficient cloud consumption.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Work with technical, financial, and leadership stakeholders to align cloud spend with operational and strategic priorities.
