The Role
We are looking to recruit a Duty Officer to join the DVC Sports Centre team in providing a customer-focused service to all of our learners, employees and members.
You will be responsible for the operational day-to-day activities of the Sports Centre whilst on duty, including Customer Service, Health and Safety and management of bookings.
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day management of the facility, providing leadership and support to all staff.
* Cover for planned and unplanned absences of staff and provide class cover where needed.
* Open and secure premises, ensuring operational readiness.
* Respond to and solve customer queries or issues.
Qualifications
* Minimum of a Level 3 Sports or Leisure related qualification.
* Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
* Full First Aid at Work qualification (will be obtained if not already in post).
* Experience of supervisory responsibilities.
* Significant knowledge of health and safety guidelines in a sports and leisure centre environment.
* Ability to work flexibly on a rota basis (mostly evenings and weekends).
