With a solid pipeline of work and a reputation for quality delivery, our client is now looking to expand their solar division by appointing experienced Solar PV Maintenance Engineers.
The Role

You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of Solar PV systems across a diverse portfolio, including high-end residential properties, education facilities, and commercial and industrial sites.
You will work as part of a skilled and supportive team, delivering high standards of workmanship while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, service, and maintain Solar PV systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites
* Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and reactive repairs on PV systems and battery storage solutions
* Complete system upgrades and improvement works to a high standard
* Undertake preventative and corrective maintenance on inverters, modules, and associated electrical components
* Lead works on site while maintaining productivity, quality, and efficiency
* Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and ensure strict adherence to health & safety procedures
* Accurately complete all job-related documentation including service reports, timesheets, and work records
* Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Inspection & Testing qualification (C&G 2391 or 2394/2395 or equivalent)
* Minimum 1 years experience installing and maintaining Solar PV systems
* Solar PV and/or EESS qualifications
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Solid technical understanding of PV systems, inverters, panels, and mounting systems
* ECS Gold Card
* Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
* SSSTS certification
* IPAF and/or PASMA
* Experience working across commercial or education sites

Package & Benefits
* Competitive salary: £35,000 £46,000 per annum, depending on experience
* Overtime paid at enhanced rates (time and a half evenings/Saturdays, double time Sundays & Bank Holidays)
