Practice Manager Vacancy The Lomond Practice Glenrothes
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced manager who has the drive and determination to continue to take our Practice forward. The post holder will oversee a comprehensive service for a GP practice, including full budget control, staff development and organisational development of the practice.
The post holder is responsible and accountable for the operational management of a practice with 10300 patients split over 2 sites (Glenrothes and Cardenden)
The key results areas for this post are:
1. Managing change in the ever evolving and often complex environment of general practice.
2. Strategic planning and the devising of Business and Development plans for the Practice, setting objectives, managing the implementation and ensuring that targets are achieved. As well as managing audits, surveys etc
3. Plan and monitor the practice budget in excess of £1m to ensure effective use of resources ensuring financial stability. Including the need for clinical and administrative cover where appropriate
4. Management and responsibility for all aspects of the Practice budget, including generation, reconciliation of invoices, authorisation of staff pay and travel expenses and payments to locum GPs, ensuring that the financial balance of the practice is maintained.
5. Ensure that the practice meets its medico-legal requirements by keeping abreast of change and developments and by liaising with appropriate internal and external bodies
6. Management and administration of the Practices Complaints Procedures including the investigation and progression of complaints to a mutual patient & practice satisfactory conclusion.
7. Recruitment, Selection and Induction of all administration and clerical staff to ensure that the practice is able to function effectively and efficiently. Coordination of recruitment selection and induction of Clinical Staff
The ideal candidate will have managerial experience, ideally in a healthcare setting. Candidates wishing to move into a healthcare management setting are equally welcome to apply.

Salary An attractive salary package with additional performance bonus is available.
Hours This is a full time position over 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
