Our client, based in Southwest London, is currently recruiting for a Property Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for the position is £45,849.39 per annum. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience working in a very similar role and will be required to take out an Enhanced DBS via the organisation. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Ensure all statutory and compliance obligations are met through effective service delivery across servicing, repairs, estates, and planned works Accountable for delivering agreed objectives and KPIs aligned with wider organisational strategy and targets Support the Head of Property in financial planning, including budget setting and optimisation across the function Manage a departmental budget exceeding £1m, ensuring efficient allocation and cost control Work closely with finance teams to maintain accurate budget management, including cash flow reporting, expenditure tracking, service charge considerations, and forecasting Oversee repairs and renewals across multiple disciplines, including gas, electrical, plumbing, and drainage, managing external contractors effectively Ensure all compliance requirements are consistently met in line with current legislation, health & safety standards, and industry best practice Experience required: A good understanding of legislation and regulation affecting property management Proven experience as Property Manager (3 years minimum) Experience of managing and training others Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Knowledge of strategies to manage high performance through people and contractors Thorough understanding of the areas for which the role is responsible: Property Management and Building Safety Able to produce reports and present work analytically Rewards and Benefits: Hybrid working – 1/2 days per week Free use of the Health and Fitness facilities and a 15% staff discount in restaurants 25 days per annum plus public holiday Working hours: 35 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm (possible flexible working Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
