About LXA

LXA is a marketing, technology and AI learning business helping organisations build modern marketing capability. We work with global brands to upskill teams across AI, data, martech, CX and digital transformation through a mix of training, research and live experiences.

Alongside our corporate learning programmes, LXA runs AntiCon, a well-established series of B2B marketing events that bring together senior marketers, technologists and industry partners to learn what's next in marketing and technology.

We are a small, experienced team with a strong track record, long-standing client relationships and a global community of over 200,000 marketing, sales and technology professionals. Our work spans enterprise clients and high-growth organisations. Our environment rewards curiosity, accountability and high standards of delivery.

Location

100% Remote.

Reporting Line

Reports to the CEO. No direct reports initially. Team management responsibilities might be added over time as your role progresses and the team grows.

The role

1. Capability Consulting Support (approx. 60%)

This is the core of the role. You will work directly on enterprise marketing capability programmes, including our current engagement with a global pharmaceutical company.

* Design and build diagnostic surveys using, applying appropriate scale formats and behaviorally anchored items calibrated to proficiency levels
* Analyse diagnostic data in Excel and BI tools: gap analysis, importance-proficiency scoring, heatmaps, and role/market cuts
* Review capability frameworks against best-practice criteria: clarity, completeness, role alignment, maturity progression, measurability
* Prepare client-ready slides: capability framework overviews, diagnostic results decks, stakeholder pre-reads, and workshop materials
* Manage the operational rhythm of engagements: stakeholder scheduling, action tracking, document version control, and delivery milestone management
* Offer structured angles for consideration to the consulting partner: alternative interpretations, risks, gaps in the evidence base

2. Course and Learning Content (approx. 20%)

Drawing on knowledge built through client work and research, you will help translate frameworks and insights into structured learning content.

* Script course modules using AI-assisted production tools
* Design learning structures: module outlines, session flow, exercises, and assessment items
* Ensure course content reflects real-world application, not just theoretical frameworks

3. Research and Insight Writing (approx. 10%)

Contributing to LXA's published research output, which builds market credibility and feeds directly back into consulting and course work.

* Identify and synthesise data points, benchmarks, and case evidence relevant to marketing capability
* Draft sections of research reports using Claude and other tools, with appropriate quality control
* Track how enterprise marketing capability is evolving: AI adoption, operating model shifts, diagnostics approaches

4. Speaker and Community Engagement (approx. 10%)

Supporting our event programme by identifying and approaching relevant practitioners.

* Research and approach senior marketing practitioners and emerging thinkers for AntiCon and related events
* Brief speakers so their sessions connect to programme themes and deliver genuine practitioner value

Your current role

You may currently be working as a:

* Consultant or analyst at an L&D consultancy, capability agency or marketing consulting firm
* Consultant or analyst at a management or HR consulting firm where capability programme delivery is part of your work

You are probably 5 to 7 years into your career.

What we are seeking

* Manage workstreams and proactively surface blockers rather than waiting to be chased
* Project management
* Are comfortable with Excel and at least one BI tool at a working analytical level
* Can produce clean, tight client slides without being asked twice
* Write clearly and precisely, with no filler
* Faster learner
* Meticulous approach

What we offer

* Direct exposure to real enterprise consulting engagements with senior global clients
* Analytical and delivery ownership from day one, not a year in
* A small, senior team with no bureaucracy and no internal politics
* Work that builds knowledge across consulting, research, and content, with a clear progression path as the business scales
* High trust, low overhead
* Advanced AI ways of working

Package

* Competitive salary
* 26 days holiday
* Work directly with the CEO on live client engagements
* Clear progression path as the business scales
* High trust, low bureaucracy
* Early Friday finish
* Certification in AI marketing and martech
