Location: West Bridgford, Nottingham (Hybrid - 2 days WFH)

We're looking for an experienced ecologist to lead a small team delivering survey work, planning support, and ecological advice across infrastructure and development projects. This is a senior role with a strong focus on team leadership, technical delivery, and client engagement.
What You'll Do
* Oversee ecological input across multiple projects
* Guide protected species surveys and mitigation work
* Provide expert advice for planning and design teams
* Ensure compliance with relevant policy and legislation
* Support service growth and manage work programmes
What You'll Need
* Degree in ecology or related subject + CIEEM membership
* Chartership or eligibility, plus relevant licences (e.g. bats)
* Strong working knowledge of UK policy, HRA & BNG
* Experience writing technical reports and managing fieldwork
* Proficiency with GIS or similar tools
* Full UK driving licence
