MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Leading Sports and Lifestyle Brand on the search for a Junior Designer (Apparel), based in Hampshire.
This is a hands-on role supporting the end-to-end design process, contributing to multiple categories and helping deliver cohesive, on-time collections aligned to brand DNA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the design team across categories from concept through to production sign-off.
* Collaborate with Design, Buying, Merchandising, and Technical teams to deliver to critical path.
* Own the design process on assigned categories, balancing creativity with commerciality.
* Contribute to seasonal research, competitor analysis, and trend insights.
* Prepare design presentations, boards, and supporting materials for reviews.
* Maintain meticulous attention to detail across specs, artwork, and prototypes.
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree in Fashion/Textile Design or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in a clothing-based design role.
* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
* Strong understanding of garment construction and commercial design principles.
* Collaborative team player with clear communication skills.
* Flexible, adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn.
