Analyst, Portfolio Management (PGIM Credit, London, Hybrid)
Role Overview
Support day‑to‑day portfolio monitoring and reporting for a large, diversified credit portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Support ongoing portfolio monitoring, including financial model updates, covenant compliance verification, and periodic performance reviews.
* Prepare recurring portfolio updates and monitoring reports with accurate data and clear analytical narrative.
* Track early indicators of underperformance and support timely escalation and modifications.
* Build and maintain benchmarking and comparative analyses used in portfolio monitoring.
* Maintain complete and accurate records; improve data quality and reduce manual rework by identifying gaps, proposing process fixes, and supporting automation.
* Support experiments and pilots applying AI to portfolio reporting, thematic analysis, and exception detection.
* Collaborate with Portfolio Management and partner teams to ensure smooth workflows and clear ownership of required inputs.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in finance, accounting, portfolio monitoring, restructuring advisory, banking, credit, project finance, data technology, or adjacent analytical roles.
* Strong financial analysis capabilities, including proficiency in interpreting financial statements and evaluating business risks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; eager to learn new technology tools and demonstrate interest in AI and automation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex information.
* Self‑starter capable of managing multiple workstreams and meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
* Participation in the CFA programme or other professional certifications is desirable.
* Fluency in Spanish, German, French, or Italian is a plus.
