This role focuses on designing and delivering electronic test equipment and test systems, supporting them from concept through development and into manufacture. What youll be doing Designing electronic test equipment and test systems for advanced weapon platforms Producing schematics, PCB designs, and compliant engineering documentation Supporting designs through manufacture, including engineering changes and production issues Acting as the technical interface between Design Engineering and Manufacturing What were looking for Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent industry experience Proven experience designing electronic or test equipment systems Strong background in digital and/or analogue electronics Experience with schematic capture and PCB design Ability to work in structured, regulated engineering environments Desirable Exposure to power electronics, RF, safety electronics or test systems Experience supporting manufacturing or production line activities Familiarity with BS EN standards Defence or highly regulated industry experience (advantageous, not essential) Why join Technically challenging, hands-on electronics design work Clear ownership of design work packages Opportunity to see designs transition into real-world manufacture Long-term programmes in a highly stable sector What happens now?
