The Warehouse Technician works in the warehouse, assisting with the preparation and dispatch of hire equipment. The role provides support to ensure the operation delivers exceptional service to customers, meeting business requirements.
The role includes developing preparation processes, seeking and implementing improvements to enhance team effectiveness and efficiency. You may be required to assist or cover for other roles within the operation, with full training and support provided.

Function of role – General
* Preparing, assembling, and de-preparing speakers, cable systems, signal patching, and mains distribution systems.
* Assisting in specialized departments including desk prep, amp prep, and RF as required.
* Ensuring equipment is delivered within timelines, with appropriate packaging and documentation.
* Reporting any anomalies, lost, stolen, or damaged equipment to managers immediately.
* Maintaining the Hire Preparation Area in a clean, organized, and tidy condition.
* Assisting with loading and tipping courier/transport vehicles.
Customer and Relationship Management
* Effectively liaising with third parties and customers to provide high standards of support and customer service, adhering to Solotech standards.
* Communicating clearly and effectively with all areas of the business and outside sources, both written and verbal.
* Working as a team member, developing positive relationships with colleagues, departments, and external contacts.
Your profile:
* Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
* Competence with computers and databases.
* Initiative and ability to work independently, knowing when to ask questions.
* Flexibility and adaptability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, ensuring smooth warehouse operations and effective customer and staff interactions.
* Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
* Flexibility to work extra hours as needed for business needs.
* Audio industry experience is advantageous.
