Main duties of the job
* As a primary care provider in midwifery, the midwife will deliver comprehensive care across labour ward (including MLC unit), and postnatal wards.
* The role requires flexible working, including internal rotation between areas and day/night duties to ensure 24-hour coverage.

Person Specification
* Midwifery degree or equivalent
* Mentorship or full SSSA preparation
* Registered Midwife (on NMC register)
* NIPE trained
Experience
* Completed 12 months post registration clinical experience working as an RM in the UK
* Worked within antenatal (including antenatal clinic), intrapartum and postnatal setting
* Worked within private patients
Skills/knowledge/ abilities
* Knowledge of obstetric -emergency skills and drills and the ability to perform in an emergency
* IV drugs administration and cannulation
* Understanding and knowledge of fetal monitoring
