Maintenance Engineer – Leicester

Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am – 14:00pm
Salary: £34,344pa
Location: Leicester

We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our client based in Leicester on a permanent basis. As a Mechanical Maintenance engineer you will help keep advanced CNC and specialist machinery running at peak performance.

Responsibilities

* Carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs and fault finding on specialist machinery
* Investigate faults, diagnose issues and take corrective action to reduce downtime
* Support planned preventative maintenance and major refurbishments of plant and equipment
* Work with PLC systems for fault finding and interrogation


Qualifications

* HNC or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering
* Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment
* Ability to fault‑find on CNC multi‑axis machinery
* Familiarity with Fanuc & Siemens controls advantageous


Maintenance Electrician – Heanor, Derbyshire

Hours: Monday to Friday 6am‑2pm or 7am‑3pm

Responsibilities

* Carry out preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment

Qualifications

Senior Maintenance Engineer – Leicester

This role is the most senior maintenance position on site, giving you full ownership of the maintenance function as a lead/manager.


Responsibilities

* Lead and take ownership of all maintenance activities as the most senior engineer on site
* Plan, control, and monitor production machinery maintenance
* Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs, implementing service plans where needed
* Maintain perpetual inventory procedures and standards
* Manage stock control and assist in supplier development
* Keep accurate records, statistics, and computer‑based systems for technical support

Qualifications

* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (essential)

* Minimum 5+ years’ experience ideally
* CAD / Electrical Design experience
