Manpower is currently recruiting on behalf of our long-established food manufacturing client based in Bonnyrigg. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Industrial Cleaner to join a busy production environment with the potential to secure a permanent contract.
This is a temporary to permanent position - offering long-term stability and career progression for the right candidate.

1. £12.40 per hour, rising to £12.65 per hour after 12 weeks

Rotational Shifts
6. Week 1: 06:30 - 14:30
7. Week 2: 14:30 - 22:30
(Please note: flexibility may be required depending on production needs.)
Location
8. Due to the site location, own transport is essential
About the Role
Working within a busy food manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards across the factory floor and production areas.
Key Responsibilities
9. Cleaning and sanitising production lines and machinery
10. Deep cleaning of floors, walls, and work surfaces
11. Handling and disposing of waste in line with company procedures
12. Using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
13. Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
14. Cleaning communal areas including staff facilities
15. Completing cleaning records and documentation accurately
16. Supporting production teams with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
What We're Looking For
17. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is essential
18. Understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards
19. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
20. Good attention to detail
21. Own transport due to location
