GSL Education are seeking a passionate Geography Teacher who can spark curiosity about places, people, and the planet for schools in Barnsley (S70, S71). Your Role in the Classroom as a Geography Teacher:
* Deliver engaging Geography lessons across key stages
* Explore physical, human, and environmental geography
* Encourage critical thinking around global and local issues
* Use maps, data, and case studies to bring learning to life
* Adapt lessons to meet a range of abilities
* Maintain a positive, well-managed learning environment
Requirements for a Geography Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Geography (preferred)
* Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
* Enthusiastic, organised, and student-focused approach
* Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
