About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Support assistant to help children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a primary school setting in Hucknall. This role is critical in providing individualized support to help children thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with diverse additional needs
* Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans
* Support children's learning, communication, and social skills
* Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
* Contribute to developing strategies that enable children to access the curriculum
What We're Looking For
* No specific qualifications required - full training provided
* Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach
* Experience in care work, support roles, or working with children preferred
* Genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children
* Willingness to learn and develop professional skills
