About the company

You will join a respected Private Medical Insurance practice with a strong track record for personal service, integrity and long-term client relationships. The team supports individuals, families and owner managed businesses with clear, honest advice. Client retention is high because people feel looked after and informed. The practice is well known in Liverpool for doing the right thing and doing it well.

Why this role exists

The practice is growing and planning for the future. The directors are looking for someone who can develop into a senior leadership position and, in time, take on wider responsibility for running and growing the Liverpool practice. For the right person there is a pathway that can lead to meaningful ownership through equity.

Location and network requirement

This position is only suitable for someone who lives in Liverpool and already has a strong local business and professional network. You will represent the practice in the Liverpool business community, and your local knowledge will be essential.

What you will do


• Manage new business enquiries and convert them into long term client relationships.


• Guide clients through their options with clear and honest advice.


• Build and nurture a quality book of SME and individual clients.


• Network across Liverpool. Attend events. Ask for referrals. Stay visible.


• Handle renewals and reviews with care and consistency.


• Use social media to share useful content and raise the practice profile.


• Meet clients in person and online. Plan your week and own your results.

What you will bring


• Strong ties to Liverpool and an active network across the local business community.


• At least three years of client facing sales experience.


• A consultative style and the ability to speak with decision makers.


• Confident and warm communication in person, on the phone and online.


• Good habits around follow up, CRM notes and organised pipelines.


• Hunger to grow, take responsibility and be recognised for the impact you make.

Experience in financial services, mortgages, insurance, banking or a strong B2B environment fits very well.
