Cash Accountant (Long Eaton)
We're looking for a detail-oriented Cash Accountant to join Sunspel on a 6-month temporary contract. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our cash transactions across all sales channels and regions. This is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact in a dynamic finance team and helping to streamline our reconciliation processes.
Responsibilities:
* Daily reconciliation to transaction level for all cash inflows for the business including:
* Online sales and refunds from various payment platforms across Sunspel platforms
* Retail card takings for the UK and US and EU stores
* Investigation and resolution of any transaction anomalies with relevant parties in the business
* Tracking of all issues and ensuring logs are kept up to date
* Investigation and resolution of historic unreconciled items.
* Monthly balance sheet account reconciliation for the undeposited accounts.
* Assistance with project implementation for new process automation.
* Ad-hoc reporting and analysiswith the potential to become permanent.
Experience:
* You will need to demonstrate previous bank reconciliation experience including reconciliation to balance sheet level
* Ability to understand impact of transactions on P&L and/or Balance sheet.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* You must have determination to see issues through to conclusion.
* Experience working on projects, documenting issues and suggested solutions.
* Experience working with multiple currencies
* A good working knowledge of Excel
