This role involves fluid mechanics on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects. We specialise in fluid mechanics across Water, Defence, Energy, Aviation, Cities & Development and Education, providing solutions through the project lifecycle and client-side support as well as construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Epsom office.
Responsibilities
* Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
* Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
* Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What You Can Bring
* Chartered Engineer.
* Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
* Sound knowledge of hydraulic design of water/wastewater treatment plant design, pipeline design, surge analysis, and familiarity with current UK design standards and working practices.
* Experience of Design & Build.
* Experience in using industry standard software such as HADES, VARISIM, WANDA.
